I have met and befriended many creative cartoonists, mainly in Egypt, as well as in Syria, Lebanon, and notably Palestine's Naji al-Ali. I found in Assem a touch of Salah Jahin, George Bahgory, Ahmed Hegazy, and Bahgat Osman.
