Human beings differ in their creation and composition from all other creatures, and their human nature is consistent with the requirements of their mission. The Creator is Allah, may His power be glorified. The creation was made with the balance of the One who knows all things, and everything with Him is in due measure; so blessed is Allah, the best of creators.

The human element in business organizations is considered one of the main factors determining management efficiency. It is the primary driver of other contributing factors within organizations to achieve desired goals. Often, the level of success and effectiveness of organizations is attributed to the management's ability to control the behavior of its employees after understanding and comprehending them, then guiding them in the desired proper direction. For management to succeed in this, it must delve into the depths of the human psyche and try to understand and comprehend the behavior of its employees. It works to sense their desires and ambitions, know their motives and tendencies, study their inclinations and ways of gathering, the most appropriate style of leadership, measure their satisfaction levels, the level of learning they have reached, and how to develop and refine their knowledge to serve the purposes of the establishments they belong to.

All of this requires modern scientific management to pause and extensively study the behavior of individuals and groups, seeking the help of scientific expertise and diverse knowledge that can provide studies, solutions, proposals, and recommendations based on realistic scientific foundations, to harness them for the benefit of both the work and the workers.

With each rising sun, management becomes more convinced of the importance of the human element at all levels and in all aspects of work. It is the human who creates work, movement, activity, and innovation in organizations. Conversely, they can also work in the opposite direction, causing boredom, problems, and setbacks. Therefore, studies and research are conducted to try to identify behavioral influences to instill a spirit of activity and vitality in the behavior and actions of employees in organizations. Based on the employee's relationship with their management and their level of acceptance of it, love, commitment, obedience, and harmony are determined. Thus, high productivity and the path to reaching the desired ends in achieving the intended goals are realized.

Since management is a continuous process that aspires to achieve specific objectives using human effort, aided by available material resources, human behavior is nothing more than the result of the interaction between an individual's traits and characteristics on one hand, and the characteristics of situations and the nature of the surrounding circumstances on the other. A wise management has no choice but to study these situations to take appropriate measures that achieve its interests with the required efficiency and effectiveness.

The book before you is a contribution to enrich the Arab library and an attempt to shed light on behavioral aspects and their effects in business organizations. I have sought help from Allah first, then from the summaries of ideas from writers and those interested in this field whose opinions I was able to access and whose studies I could review. I was enlightened by the opinions of my academic colleagues, the observations and inquiries of my students, as well as the opinions and observations of some workers, factory owners, and managers from both the public and private sectors, to focus on some scientific and practical ideas in a manner that suits the Arab reality in our establishments, benefiting from the experiences of preceding civilizations and other nations, and guided by the methodology of our true religion, which is the beacon and lamp for religious and worldly sciences. I hope that this effort will help teachers, students, and interested parties to understand the importance of behavioral sciences, which are indispensable for any manager or interested person.
