Fifteen minutes before my birth, I didn’t know I would appear in this world. I start with this empty preface because I wish to advance all other famous people by just a quarter of an hour, those whose lives are described from the moment of their birth with tedious monotony.

When the midwife presented me to my father, he looked at what I could become, showing insight, and said:

I bet gold it’s a boy!

I thought to myself slyly: “What a cunning old fox! You seem to be playing.” Thus began our acquaintance and then our friendship.

Humbly, I hesitate to mention the fact that bells rang on the day I was born, and there was public rejoicing. The envious link that joy to the coincidence of a major holiday with my birthday, but I have not yet understood how that denies people’s joy at my arrival.
