The front-page article, especially in 'As-Safir', is not the place for a writer to seek literary enjoyment. It serves to express the complex questions facing our Arab countries, or at least this is my interpretation. I endeavored in the articles I had the chance to publish on the front page of 'As-Safir' to depict the reality as I observed it, not as I wished it to be. Regardless, these are short texts I wrote over the span of a year and a bit, taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the publisher and editor-in-chief of 'As-Safir', Talal Salman. As with any text, they are presented for the reader's judgment.
