This poetry collection is the first—and it may not be the last—but most of the poems it contains are the last I wrote in Algeria or during my stay in Turkey. I wanted to present what I consider to be the best experience and most mature content to meet the poetic taste of readers. Publishing, in truth, is not my first or only goal; rather, I aim to provide literary material in which the average reader can find the pleasure of reading and the delight of wandering through the soul's emotions and contemporary crises—at times between love and estrangement, at others between joy and anger, and occasionally between failure and victory.
