Ammar Al-Junaidi is a short-story writer, poet, and playwright with a Ph.D. in Media.

More than twenty critical studies have been written about his creative work, published in specialized cultural newspapers and magazines, on electronic websites, and some in critical books.

His poetry collection (My Hills are Narrowed by Their Boxthorn) was taken as a graduation project (Licentiate thesis) at the Abdelhafid Boussouf University Center of Mila, Algeria in 2016.
