The science of logic contained in the "Sullam" of the scholar Al-Akhdari, whose explanation and verification are presented in this book, is in fact logic in its Aristotelian form and what was added by Aristotle's students, foremost among them Porphyry, with new dimensions in his book "Isagoge." This covers conceptions, propositions, and logical syllogisms in terms of their form, not their substance. From Aristotelian logic branches a new form of logic: symbolic, mathematical, algebraic, or logarithmic logic. It is called symbolic because the laws of this science are expressed through symbols and signs, rather than words and phrases.
