In this study, narrative rhythm constitutes a crucial and primary element in uncovering the vision in approaching the text and the importance of rhythm in relation to the novel's structure and artistic form. The comparison presented in this study—between the movement of time, place, and events on one hand, and the changes that affect the characters in both their internal (psychological) and external (visible) worlds on the other—serves to enrich and deepen the understanding of the novel on both artistic and thematic levels.
