Abdullah Ibrahim, a prominent Iraqi writer and critic, is considered one of the leading researchers in narratives and cultural criticism in the Arab world. Born in Iraq in 1957, he dedicated his academic and research efforts to studying both ancient and modern Arabic narratives, with a special focus on issues of confession, identity, memory, and historical imagination.
