"Mu'id al-Ni'am wa Mubid al-Niqam" (The Restorer of Blessings and the Annihilator of Calamities) is a beautiful and insightful book by Imam Abd al-Wahhab ibn Ali ibn Abd al-Kafi, known as Taj al-Din al-Subki, who was born in Cairo in 728 AH (some say 729 AH).

The author mentions in the book's introduction: 'I received a question asking: Is there a path for one who has been stripped of a religious or worldly blessing, that if they follow it, it will return to them? The answer was: Their path is to know from where the affliction came and repent from it, to acknowledge the benefits within the trial and be content with it, and then to supplicate to Allah Almighty in the manner described. These are three sequential matters that together form the cure for their illness and bring about the end of their ailment. The third cannot precede the second, nor the second the first. The questioner then returned, saying: Explain these matters to us with a clear and concise explanation, and describe this cure to us clearly, so we may use it.'

The book then details 113 different professions, discussing their jurisprudence, etiquette, and how to preserve blessings within each one.
