"Al-Masabih" by al-Baghawi is a collection of hadiths presented without their chains of transmission (asanid). Al-Khatib al-Tabrizi later added the narrating Companion, sourced the hadiths, and included a third section, naming the work "Mishkat al-Masabih". It has been explained by approximately nine scholars, including al-Qari in this book. A Hanafi jurist, he discusses the biographies of the narrating Companions and provides linguistic, jurisprudential, and hadith-related insights, as well as notes on spiritual conduct. Printed alongside it is "Al-Ikmal fi Tarajim Rijal al-Mishkat" by al-Tabrizi. This edition is collated against a manuscript.
