In this study, Dr. Omar Kamel Hassan provides an overview and analysis of the policies for implementing vital spheres in one of the most important geographical regions for all global and regional powers, the Middle East. The study uses Iran as a practical model because it represents a key regional power, thanks to its strategic position that allows it to maintain its Middle Eastern vitality. The author delves into a detailed analysis of the nature of vital spheres, both historically and modern, exploring their conceptual evolution and geopolitical significance. He uncovers recent developments in modern means of achieving the objectives of vital spheres and considers the strategic importance of the Middle East region.
