Suddenly, while immersed in mourning his troubled soul, he realized that he could see! He perceived what was around him differently than he had imagined. He saw a vast, luminous place with no boundaries or defined lines. Quickly, he looked upward to see the sky and distinguish the horizon from the ground, finding no separation between the earth and sky, as if he were inside a boundless sphere. It was like a sky taking shape. He gazed intensely at the crystallizing sky and saw clouds for the first time. Moments later, the clouds piled up above him, releasing their rain. Alarmed, he watched the raindrops descending swiftly, unlike any he'd seen before. To his shock, they were human figures! Dozens of faces and forms, hundreds of appearances and expressions, rushed toward him as if they intended to land on his head. They collided around him, revealing faces he knew. People he loved, those he met in childhood, school teachers, shop owners, teenage rivals, individuals he encountered on streets and in shops, all coming down from the sky.
