In the Arab world, we are in dire need of media research amidst the continuous and rapid development in media technology and the widespread presence of media everywhere. This has placed the world in the hands of the reader and viewer, who can see and hear events as they happen, creating constant interaction between the media and its audience. Therefore, these studies aim to understand the extent of the public's influence by traditional and modern media and their interest in it, in order to always arrive at the truth and develop these media in a way that suits the public's interests. We have noted the significant and effective role of media in changing the political landscape of the Arab region by altering systems of governance, due to the media's ability to shape attitudes and influence public opinion. Since most of these studies remain confined to scientific journals, colleges, and universities, it was necessary to prepare a book like this to include a collection of these studies in the fields of media, public relations, and advertising, making them accessible to the interested reader and scholar.

The book consists of several chapters covering various topics. Chapter One addresses how to activate the role of Arab satellite channels to support the cause of Jerusalem and its Arab-Islamic identity, considering the spread of these channels since the 1990s and their role in shaping policies. Chapter Two explores the impact of television advertisements on the social behavior of female Palestinian university students in the Gaza Strip. Chapter Three presents a field study on using publications as a communication tool in public relations departments in private institutions. Chapter Four seeks to identify the role of tourism public relations in improving the mental image of tourism and developing it. Chapter Five examines how Palestinian newspapers covered the issue of security chaos in the Gaza Strip from late 2006 to early 2007. Chapter Six discusses job satisfaction among PR employees in tourism institutions in the Gaza Strip and the factors affecting it. Finally, Chapter Seven presents the slogans and propaganda techniques used during the 2006 Palestinian legislative elections, which had a significant impact on the outcome.
