The origin of these articles, as mentioned in the author's introduction, began in 1949 when Wadih al-Sidawi, the owner of the 'Al-Nasr' newspaper, asked him to write a daily column titled 'A Small Word Every Day.' He continued this for a while before moving to the 'Al-Ayyam' newspaper with Nasuh Babil, where he wrote for years, accumulating hundreds of articles. This book contains short, concise essays, which is why the author described it as 'in words.' The book includes one hundred and thirteen of these articles.
