Considering Aristotle's view that the principle of non-contradiction is the fundamental and primary principle of logic, and a condition for the mere possibility of knowledge and speech, and that logic for him is a tool for producing certain knowledge concerning reality and what truly exists, this principle itself, within the logical structure that is its foundation, hinders the possibility of knowing what truly exists, let alone the possibility of being certain of it. Anyone who thinks otherwise must abandon logic as a tool for certain epistemic production related to reality and what truly exists, which means, in other words, they must strip logic of the function for which it exists and begin dealing with it as a non-cognitive tool, one that is not aimed at understanding what exists.
