In 'Lamps of the Sunna', Imam Al-Baghawi compiled Hadiths from the books of Sunna, catering to the daily needs of Muslims in matters of jurisprudence and creed, offering an alternative to the extensive books. Since this was his aim, he omitted their chains of narration and only mentioned the Companions when necessary. Scholars paid great attention to explaining it multiple times. He used a specific terminology, categorizing the Hadiths of al-Bukhari and Muslim as 'authentic' and others as 'good'. The author noted that he might include weak or odd Hadiths, pointing them out, and claimed the exclusion of rejected or fabricated ones.
The Hadiths are detailed in the book's margins and it includes an index. Author: Al-Baghawi Al-Hussein Bin Masoud. Edited by: Dohaa Al-Khateeb. Published by: Dar Al-Kutub Al-Ilmiyyah – Beirut.
