"Jordanian Economic Policies" is a new book by the Jordanian economic expert Dr. Adli Shehadeh Qandah. It is a tour of the economic and social conditions in Jordan, through which the author keeps pace with events, developments, and trends. The content stems from a sense of national concern and responsibility, and a commitment to history, the homeland, and its citizens. When he writes, he lives the conversation and events of the street, writing, as he says, "...what I firmly and diligently believed serves the public interest in terms of providing an impartial opinion, general and specialized information, and the absolute figure or precise percentage of an economic or social indicator. I wrote with a clear conscience (...) I wrote on various topics in general economic policy, fiscal policy, monetary policy, banking, international trade, regional and international cooperation, and economic development (...) presenting proposals that I saw would contribute to finding solutions for local economic problems...".

The book explains these chronic problems, presents the challenges facing the Jordanian economy at the local, regional, and international levels, and devises solutions and offers opinions. It analyzes, discusses, and lays the foundations for amending some existing laws; it guides those interested in economic affairs to a practical, applicable solution suitable for comprehensive economic reform programs, making it akin to an "economic scientific encyclopedia," which underscores its importance.

The book includes nearly three hundred articles published in the Al-Arab Al-Yawm newspaper, which the author decided to collect in a book and present to the Arab reader in general and the Jordanian reader in particular, hoping it will contribute to overcoming the impasse and help chart the course for the future.

Based on the above, the book's articles are organized into several axes:

  • Axis One: Models of Economic Development
  • Axis Two: Growth, Development, and Economic Partnership
