This book contains critical explorations of the most complex and brilliant contemporary philosophies, highlighting the rhetorical power, theoretical treatment, and technical competence that characterized Derrida. He excelled not only in reading texts and identifying intellectual points but also in connecting time with space, the present with the future, reason with politics, literature with philosophy, language with reality, humanity with destiny, and pain with hope.

These studies address diverse topics related to the term 'deconstruction,' critique of metaphysics and logocentrism, the question of hauntology, the sign, and interpretation, alongside issues of freedom, politics, reason, and human and animal rights. The studies attempt to encompass the sprawling aspects of Derrida's philosophy, which intersects with other philosophies through criticism and diversification, and with theoretical and applied methodologies through influence, such as structuralism, semiotics, and pragmatics.

The book also discusses the position of contemporary Arab thought on the map of deconstruction and its stance on Derrida's philosophy, ranging from praise and selectivity to abandonment and satire. Regardless of the justifications for adopting or denouncing Derrida's positions, they remain a testament to the evolution of philosophical thought from Platonic and Cartesian self-evidence to Nietzschean and Heideggerian beginnings, where the question of truth, reality, and value moves away from illusory guarantees to open up to the possibilities emerging from the core of the event, in the now, and in the future.
