Jaber Mohieddin Kandour is a prominent Jordanian figure in the field of writing and filmmaking. Born in Amman in 1938, he is of Circassian origin. He migrated to the United States at the age of thirteen to complete his studies, graduating with a degree in history from Earlham College in the USA, followed by studies in economics and international relations at Claremont Graduate University in California, where he obtained his master's and doctorate degrees.
