Praise be to Allah, who taught man after ignorance, guided him after misguidance, and gave him understanding after heedlessness. Peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, whom his Lord sent to all people as a bearer of good tidings, a warner, a guide, and a teacher; so that those who were to perish would perish upon a clear proof, and those who were to live would live upon a clear proof.

To proceed: These are studies in Islamic criminal legislation compared with positive laws, in which Allah has guided me to reveal the merits of Sharia, its superiority over man-made laws, and its precedence in establishing all humanitarian principles and scientific and social theories that the world did not know and scholars did not discover until recently.

The reader will see the truth of this statement within the pages of this book, and I hope that by the time they finish reading it, they will have come to believe what I believe: that Islamic Sharia is the law for all times and places.

And praise be to Allah, who has guided us to this, for we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us.
