Authored by Ahmed Amin, "Islam Emerges – Arabic Book" is divided into four parts, exploring social and literary movements along with religious sects that emerged in the late Abbasid era.

In the first part, the analysis focuses on the social and intellectual states from the era of Al-Mutawakkil to the late 4th Hijri century. This period is considered one of the richest in Islamic civilization.

The second part covers the history of sciences, arts, and literature in the 4th Hijri century, providing a panoramic view over disciplines such as interpretation, Hadith, jurisprudence, theology, ethics, philosophy, mysticism, grammar, rhetoric, literature, geography, art, agriculture, commerce, administration, and justice.

In the third part, the author specializes in the intellectual life in Andalusia from its Muslim conquest until their expulsion.

The fourth part discusses Islamic doctrines and beliefs, their evolution, conflicts, and future. Notably, this was the last work of Ahmed Amin before his passing.
