There is no doubt that believing in respect for individual rights is the optimal way to respect human dignity, and dignity is based on an equal perspective and fair treatment for all members of society. The state, represented by the political authority – the agents – in managing the affairs of its other pillars, is concerned with respecting the freedom of individuals, in terms of freedom of expression, media, and belief, and then joining associations and bodies. It is through this that the dignity of the individual becomes clear as they exercise their rights represented by political participation, which begins with the right to vote, political pluralism, and a decent life under legal protection based on legislative rules issued with the consent of the majority, if not all.
