Therefore, in every letter of this book, I was keen to speak to the reader from heart to heart, as a friend speaks to a friend, and as a lover conveys their gentle reproof to their beloved. I portrayed for them what wanders in their mind of the soul's conversations and the heart's secrets, so they might see their own image before their eyes as they turn its pages, as if they alone are the one being addressed.

This book is not an emotional book devoid of content and substance, as some mistakenly believe about this genre, passing preconceived judgments on them and their authors without taking the trouble to read or browse their content. The art of writing is not confined to novels or long articles alone; poetry, reflections, and short articles are also types of creative writing, considered beautiful arts just like other arts such as painting, engraving, and music. The only measure for them is the impact they leave on hearts.

In my book, 'I Need a Heart,' I made sure to diversify the content, sending a message to the reader with every letter. I moved through its chapters touching on all aspects of human relationships, and scattered within its folds letters of hope, so that hearts may return to their lost security and their familiar pulse.
