Praise be to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own selves and from our bad deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whomever He misguides, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and his companions.

I am pleased to present the first edition of the book "Home Management" to all those interested in studying family life and to everyone concerned with improving their living methods.

Remember, dear reader, that great people are ordinary individuals who developed their abilities and efforts through struggle, perseverance, and deliberate steps. Ships may be safe when anchored in harbors, but ships were not made for this. Set out into the unknown seas, do something new, look at life from its sunny angles, and learn to be optimistic about the beauty and splendor you are in. You are beautiful, but you do not know or see it.

In this book, I have tried to build you a new boat to navigate the sea of life, to breathe the fresh air, and to let your senses be touched by the beauty of sailing in the world of happiness.

As I present the first edition of this book, I must extend my utmost loyalty and gratitude to those whom God Almighty and the noble Prophet commanded me to honor—my beloved mother and father, the light of my sight and the inspiration of my insight. They endured much that mountains would struggle to bear so that this work could come to light. May Allah bless their lives and grant them health and wellness.

With all love, appreciation, and gratitude, I extend my deepest loyalty and immense thanks to my dear brother and my husband, Professor Yusri Salem Qamar, who supported me and provided every means of comfort and assistance to complete this work and never tired of encouraging me.
