The poetry collection "Higher Than the Laughter of Trees" is the second poetic work by Jordanian poet Mohammed Abu Arab, published by the Arab Institute for Studies and Publishing in 2016.

This collection comprises 44 prose poems inspired by the aesthetics of the Jordanian countryside, particularly from the village of Qulaiat in northern Jordan, where the poet grew up. The poems intertwine images of nature, such as rivers, horses, and trees, with self-reflections and philosophical visions that reflect the poet's concerns and preoccupations.

Characterized by a visual narrative style, the collection transitions between memories and life experiences, posing existential questions about self and existence. For instance, in the poem "I Am Not Myself" the poet expresses a renewed relationship with nature and existence, contemplating the details of daily life.
