Praise be to Allah, who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. He created man from clay, then made his progeny from an extract of humble fluid. He honored Adam, the father of humanity, by creating him with His own hands and breathing into him of His spirit. He honored his descendants by shaping them in the wombs in the most beautiful form, creating them in the best of stature, providing them with good things, favoring them over many of His creatures, endowing them with intellect to know Him, and bestowing upon them blessings to remember and thank Him. (O Allah, make us among those who remember and are grateful. Amen).

Allah (Exalted is He) has blessed humankind with a set of sensory systems and organs to help them feel the stimuli around them, perceive and understand their surroundings, and adapt to the environment with its various social and material changes. The sense of hearing holds the primary importance among these senses. This is supported by Allah's (Exalted is He) emphasis on hearing in more than one hundred and eighty places in the Holy Quran. Furthermore, in most verses where hearing and sight are mentioned together, hearing is mentioned first.

Civilized nations have persisted in developing this trend step by step, aiming to mitigate the challenges faced by the hearing impaired and guide their path to become productive and beneficial members of society.
