Ghazi bin Abdulrahman Al Gosaibi (1940–2010) was a prominent Saudi writer, poet, diplomat, and intellectual, born in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Law from Cairo University, followed by a Master's in International Relations from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. from the University of London, where his dissertation focused on the Yemeni crisis.

Al Gosaibi held several governmental positions, notably Minister of Industry and Electricity, Minister of Health, Ambassador to Bahrain and the UK, and Minister of Labor. He was dubbed the "Father of Reform" for his contributions to modernizing governmental sectors and empowering women's roles in the workforce.

In literature, Al Gosaibi authored over 40 books, spanning poetry, novels, and essays, with his works translated into several languages. Notable novels include "Freedom Apartment", "Seven", and "Happiness Ambassador".
