Synopsis
The geopolitical position of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is of great importance for the countries of the world, especially for foreign countries. In this regard, this study demonstrated France’s prominent role as one of the main supporters of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It also aimed to analyze aspects of the partnership between the two countries, the importance of which stems from the close and historical ties, which has continued until now. And to recognize the changes that the Jordanian-French relations witnessed within 1999-2019, the study raised questions about the depth of these relations, and the benefits, indicating that there is a positive and fruitful partnership committed to supporting several areas and led to remarkable developments in the relations between the two countries. His Majesty King Abdullah II has an important role in strengthening these relations since assuming his constitutional powers. To achieve its goals, the study adopted the analytical approach and descriptive approach. This study consists of six chapters, offering: introduction, historical background and diplomatic, political relations, cultural, social, and media fields, investment and development projects, tourist attractions, tourism and archeology support, judicial cooperation, and strategic partnership. This study concluded that the partnership between France and Jordan is solid and coherent, and there is growing cooperation, and coordination at various fields. Based on the results, this study proposed some recommendations include encouraging more cooperation and urging the adoption of the French-Jordanian relationship as a model of successful relations between developed and developing countries.
