Additional virtues include obedience to those in authority, working with Muslim communities, ruling with justice, enjoining good, forbidding evil, and collaborating in piety and righteousness. Among the virtues are modesty, honoring parents, maintaining kinship, good manners, benevolence to servants, fulfilling the rights of children and relatives, befriending the pious, spreading greetings and responding to them, visiting the sick, praying for the deceased, reacting to sneezes, avoiding corrupt individuals, honoring neighbors and guests, and concealing others' faults.

Further attributes include patience, asceticism, modest hopes, jealousy, avoiding frivolous talk, generosity, mercy to the young, respect for elders, reconciling people, and loving for others what one loves for oneself.
