Since March 2011, Syria has experienced one of its most significant and transformative periods in recent history. The Syrian crisis recently sparked a relatively equivalent degree of both hopes and concerns regarding its nature, the paths of development and change, and future possibilities, especially concerning the nature of the state, social and political composition, and its stance on regional and international issues. The crisis began as an unprecedented and shocking event, marking a divisive, unexpected, controversial, skeptical, and post-modern era. It was characterized as a transient and brief occurrence, believed to be quickly resolvable. This crisis represented an 'excessive event' in evaluations, perceptions, symbols, and labels, as well as in stances, facts, and incidents. Up to now, there has been no consensus on the nature of the events, differing based on actors, intentions, and stakes, leading to complex and intertwined fractures, making it challenging to grasp the event fully. In addition to the intertwining meanings, stakes, and positions, it has given rise to numerous events and remains interpretative, open to various and intertwined paths.
