The commentary is on the text known as 'Al-Nuqayah,' originally authored by Imam Sadr al-Shari'ah 'Ubayd Allah ibn Mas'ud al-Mahbubi (d. 747 AH). In it, he summarized one of the four esteemed texts among the Hanafis: 'Wiqayat al-Riwayah fi Masail al-Hidayah,' which was written for him by his grandfather, Imam Taj al-Shari'ah Mahmud al-Mahbubi, to memorize in his youth. He extracted it from the issues discussed in the book 'Al-Hidayah' by Imam Burhan al-Din al-Marghinani, which is one of the most significant and precise Hanafi books that has reached us in terms of verification, refinement, and accuracy in transmitting the school's doctrines. Since the book 'Al-Nuqayah' is the essence of the book 'Al-Wiqayah,' which is the essence of the book 'Al-Hidayah,' it is truly the essence of the essence.
