About the Book:
The true purpose of this work is documentary and cognitive. It is not at all intended to hold any official Arab entity or personality, whether in power or in decision-making positions, responsible for the catastrophe of Palestine. Nor is it to levy accusations or portray some in the light of treason or conspiracy against Palestine, God forbid, or to exonerate others. Rather, what I believe to be a true duty for anyone working in the field of documentation is to present information and documents that aid in a genuine understanding of events, leading to comprehension and the reordering of knowledge and the judgments derived from it, based on the perspective of documentation, documents, results, and facts, not personal interpretations.
Adopting the language of treason or conspiracy against Palestine is terrifying if it takes hold of the Arab conscience. After consulting numerous documentary sources such as the documents of King Abdullah I bin Al-Hussein of Jordan, the memoirs of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, and Jordanian Prime Minister Wasfi al-Tal (may God have mercy on them), and what God has facilitated for me to review of documents, correspondence, books, references, and university theses over the twenty-five years I have worked in the field of documentation and knowledge dissemination, I have come to understand that the catastrophe of Palestine is not the resistance of one state's colonialism against another, nor an unarmed people resisting this colonialism. Instead, it is the new and true form of resistance to Western global colonialism in the region, with its new, modern, ideological, and theological intellectual tools for the excessive exploitation of energy sources, resources, and sustainable development in the Arab region. It is a war between truth and falsehood, between rights and ambitions, between patriotism and conspiracy: it is the war for honor, pride, and dignity.
This book is specifically directed at the youth of our Arab nation to re-understand history from the perspective of documentation, to provide a solid foundation for them to stand on as they plan for the future. For information, then documentation, then perception, is the path to knowledge.
