The Jordanian legislator addressed crimes against property in Chapter Eleven of the Second Book of the Penal Code, Law No. (16) of 1960, in Chapters 1-7.

In this book, we provide a detailed explanation of the most commonly occurring crimes in practice, taking into account the amendments made to some of these crimes, namely theft, fraud, breach of trust, and bounced checks, along with other related amendments, as stipulated in the amended Penal Code No. 8 of 2011.

This will be covered in three parts, followed by a special chapter, as follows:

• Part One: On the crimes of theft in their various forms.
• Part Two: On fraud and its related crimes (the crime of exploiting the needs of a minor or an incapacitated person, and the five forms of the crime of a bounced check).
• Part Three: On the crime of breach of trust and its related offenses.

The special chapter will cover the comprehensive provisions for these crimes.
