A romantic comedy and one of Jane Austen's novels. The novel revolves around the rich, beautiful, and spoiled girl named Emma Woodhouse, who tries to bring some of her friends together to get married without realizing the dangers of interfering in the lives of others. An American musical film titled "Emma" was produced in 1996, adapted from the novel, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeremy Northam, and it won the Oscar for Best Original Score.
