"Emma" was first published in 1815, in which the author Jane Austen sheds light on the problems and concerns of women of the wealthy class in the Georgian era. Jane Austen excelled in using a comedy of manners among the characters. The novel revolves around the rich, beautiful, and spoiled girl named Emma Woodhouse, who tries to bring some of her friends together to get married without realizing the dangers of interfering in the lives of others. An American musical film titled "Emma" was produced in 1996, adapted from the novel, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeremy Northam, and it won the Oscar for Best Original Score.
