Synopsis:
"I often felt that life repeats itself without our will. I imagine God gives us the opportunity to rediscover ourselves and get rid of our sins, to become purer and closer to Him. But that does not come without acknowledging these sins, which will in turn be repeated if we remain hidden behind the senselessly forbidden and the sacredly profane! Others may share the same sins with us. But our role is not to fix the holes in the globe, but to fix our own holes and let others fix theirs. It is an attempt at treatment, then, but I will not be the doctor here; perhaps I am more the patient than the doctor. And I am fully confident that the patient is the best doctor for their own ailment. Today, we all embezzle something from the other: a kiss, a glance, or a smile of desire. As for me, I have embezzled my novel from all of that, and also, from stories where reality mixed with imagination until it became pure reality. For who said that half of pure reality is not pure imagination?"
