Apartment in Downtown by Tamer Atwa

The novel "Downtown Apartment" by Tamer Atwa ... Finally leaving behind (Haram Apartment), heading towards the center, towards downtown. How I love those buildings adorned with engravings and entries! I see them as nests of souls who loved and left, as I will inevitably do one day. Something keeps me addicted to wandering in its memory-soaked streets and loud silence. Something transformed me from bars to a train, I am no longer completely intact as I used to be, not the innocent, tearful, frightened child of before. Something occupied me, turning me from prey into hunter. Just as joy is taken from some and given to others, I willingly offered myself to this faint call, responding to the spiritual instinct without hesitation, loving the darkness and solitude.

In downtown, you'll inevitably hear cries asking for time to turn back for just a minute. I will tell you about people, entities, and incidents filled with laughter mixed with tears, safety intertwined with panic, but briefly and chaotically, as I have no time for coordination and arrangement. Take the threads from me and weave them into a garment of your size, for all events intertwine with all dates without gaps or margins, just me and my apartment, my hallucinations, and my authority that I never knew how to properly fit onto my shoulders. Indeed, I had terrifying tales in... downtown.
