Mohammad ibn Ubaid Allah ibn Abdullah, Abu al-Fath, known as Ibn at-Tuʿāwīdhī or Sibṭ ibn at-Tuʿāwīdhī, was a renowned Iraqi poet of his time. He was from Baghdad, where he was born and passed away. He served as a scribe in the Diwan of Divisions, and he became blind in 579 AH. He was the grandson of the ascetic Abu Muhammad ibn. His father, a freed slave named Nashtakin, was called Ubaid Allah.
