This book is a scientific curriculum for the Discrete Mathematics course, also known by other names such as Discrete Structures, Logic and Sets, or Computer Mathematics. This course is taught to first-year university students to pave the way for understanding mathematics for new students in the faculties of Science, Engineering, Education, and Computer Science.   • Chapter Four: Discusses relations, including binary relations, representation of relations, types of relations, composition of relations, and reflexive, symmetric, transitive, anti-symmetric, and equivalence relations.
  • Chapter Five: Dedicated to functions, covering functions, images and preimages, composition of functions, types of functions (injective, surjective, and bijective).
  • Chapter Six: Explores Boolean algebra, including order relations, notable elements in an ordered set, lattices, Boolean algebra, Boolean functions, logic circuits, and Karnaugh maps.
  • Chapter Seven: Covers counting methods, including principles of counting, permutations, combinations, the binomial theorem, and the pigeonhole principle.
  • Chapter Eight: Studies graphs, including basic definitions, graph isomorphism, operations on graphs, paths and circuits, Euler and Hamiltonian paths and circuits, matrix representation of graphs, planar graphs, trees, rooted trees, and ordered binary trees.
