Dr. Ziad Aldrees requested that I write a few words to introduce his book: (Diplomatic Struggle), and I was delighted to fulfill this request, not only because of my knowledge of the author and how he enriched readers through his column in Al-Hayat newspaper, but also because I've known him as honest and creative in his expressions. My expectations were met when reading the book, as I found myself drawn to the enjoyable and straightforward style in which he expresses his ideas. His eloquence is evident, especially in his remarks on the Palestinian issue, such as when he describes the late Sheikh Ahmed Yassin: 'He was the eye of the struggle, unaffected by the allure of trading people for power. He renounced his wheelchair while others clung to stationary chairs. When Yassin was assassinated, Fatah mourned him with enthusiasm, and Hamas described his assassination as a close triumph.' What a talent in mastering and artfully using words. Aldrees then delves into the Arab tragedies regarding Palestine, stating: 'After the catastrophe, the setback, and the retreat (meaning the leaders' failure to honor their promises to solve the Palestinian issue), the symptoms of a fourth stage are now emerging, which can be described as a joke!' And with Allah's success. Turki Al Faisal
