This research seeks to uncover the influence of the individual and society in cultural processes and how socialization occurs, through two sections: theoretical and practical. The theoretical side presents and critiques theories of socialization. The practical side addresses the situation of the individual, family, and society, attempting to shed light on the processes of social interaction, communication, and leaving the family circle. It also examines awareness, control, the rapid transformations between parents and children, and issues related to upbringing and the changing roles of parents. (From the introduction)

About the Author:

Dr. Zaki Hussein Jumaa, born in Lebanon in 1967. He holds a state doctorate in Social Sciences. He has served as the Director of Studies at the Statistical Consulting Center and a former advisor to the Minister of Social Affairs. He is a professor of Social Sciences at the Lebanese University.
