The Chihiros A LEDs are designed for densely planted freshwater aquariums. The LEDs have a color temperature around 8.000 Kelvin & are arranged in 3 rows across the entire LED fixture to ensure a well-balanced illumination as to not cast any shadows. The LED fixture housing is made of aluminum alloy & coated with a anodized surface to effectively cool the high luminosity LEDs reducing heat, giving longer life, & longer durability of your LEDs The A series includes a manual dimmer allowing you to adjust the light with 7 intensities (100% - 90% - 80% - 70% - 60% - 50% - 30%). This allows for raising the light intensity when started a new aquarium to find the perfect balance. should be raised slowly and according to the plant growth. When used with a timer, dimmer settings will not be erased as there is built-in memory for storing settings. The LEDs are programmable with a Chihiros Commander Bluetooth controller(SOLD SEPERATELY). This differentiates the A from the A II series, which has a built-in Bluetooth device to change the spectrum. The app allows you to easily set the timer, light intensity, ramping, & sunrise/sunset via "My Chihiros APP".
