Plato remains a window through which we view the enchanting and astonishing Greek world, as well as Greek philosophy, which is present in his works. He presented Greek heritage through beautiful texts, described by some thinkers as wonderful plays, where different opinions clash before our eyes, embodied by their proponents. Plato's writings are filled with numerous characters, some real ones known in Greek society and others created from his imagination. This raises questions about why Plato populated his dialogues with well-known figures representing Greek society and fictional ones.
