Bahi woke up, and a short while later, the Arabized Frenchman came to him, giving him a look that was a mixture of pity and contempt, and initiated, saying: 'We realize your overwhelming feeling of being different from us... The small part that was exported to your countries came through a known mafia that buys similar products from European markets at cheap prices, repackages, and re-exports them.' The Arabized Frenchman turned and gazed out the window, continuing: '...And in the end, this mistake that disgusted you to the point of vomiting, monsieur, is a natural price for progress... There is no progress without a price, sacrifice, and cruelty... Your emotional nature is one of the main reasons for your negative view of us... We experiment, we succeed, and we fail... and thus we advance...' Then he stared into his eyes defiantly: '...As for you, time passes you by while you are constrained by the fetters of emotion and sanctity... I am speaking to you as an intellectual who will understand the meaning of what I say...' Bahi was silent for a few moments... then he spat in his face!!
