Shaker Al-Nabulsi (May 12, 1940 – January 14, 2014) was a prominent Jordanian writer and researcher, classified among the "New Liberals" in the Arab world. He was born in the city of Salt, Jordan, studied literature in Egypt, and then moved to the United States, where he lived the last two decades of his life until his passing.
