She was promised a place at a village institute to learn sewing, after which she would join a workshop in the city. Due to violence that erupted that year between two tribes in the village, escalating into a conflict that included neighboring villages and cities, a fever of tribal and ethnic grudges spread, destroying everything. The original inhabitants were forced to migrate from their homes to any distant place. Thousands died, buildings were demolished, and roads were cut off. Countries considering themselves great powers intervened in a war with armed groups, with no one knowing where they came from or why.
