Ghazi Al Gosaibi (1940 – 2008) was a prominent Saudi writer, poet, and diplomat. Born in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Law from Cairo University, and pursued postgraduate studies in the UK and USA, obtaining a PhD in Planning from the University of London.

Al Gosaibi held significant governmental and diplomatic positions, including serving as Saudi Ambassador to several countries, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Minister of Water and Electricity, and Minister of Health. He was renowned for his literary and poetic activities, blending culture, literature, and politics.

His novel “Al-Jinniyah” Part 5 reflects his deep human insight and ability to mix social reality with literary imagination, covering themes like internal conflict, identity, and human values in a rich and impactful narrative style, making it one of his distinguished works in fiction.
