Al-Ba'ith al-Hathith Sharh Ikhtisar Ulum al-Hadith

This is a book on the science of Hadith, authored by Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir (700-774 AH). The original renowned work, "Ulum al-Hadith," famously known as "Muqaddimat Ibn al-Salah," was authored by Al-Hafiz Uthman bin al-Salah al-Shahrazuri. He refined its sciences and dictated it gradually, but its arrangement was not optimal. Consequently, a group of scholars took on the task of organizing and explaining it. Imam al-Nawawi summarized "Ulum al-Hadith," and subsequently, Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir further condensed it into this new book, "Al-Ba'ith al-Hathith Sharh Ikhtisar Ulum al-Hadith." He composed it with clear, eloquent language and understandable sentences, adding valuable notes and corrections to Ibn al-Salah's work.
