Al-Adhkar min Kalam Sayyid al-Abrar, also known as Hilyat al-Abrar wa Shi'ar al-Akhyar fi Talkhis al-Da'awat wal-Adhkar al-Mustahabbah bil-Layl wal-Nahar (The Ornament of the Pious and the Emblem of the Virtuous in Summarizing the Supplications and Remembrances Recommended for Day and Night). This is the only edition that relies on two manuscripts collated against the copy of Ibn al-Attar, the student of Imam al-Nawawi, which bears the author's handwriting and was read back to him.

It is from the great favor of Allah upon His servants that He brought forth for this religion sincere men who dedicated their lives to serving their faith. Through their sincerity, devotion, and high aspirations, they reached a lofty status, truly becoming figures of knowledge to whom others would travel. Among these great individuals is the pious, working scholar, the Hafiz, Imam al-Nawawi, author of the book Al-Adhkar. This Imam reached a magnificent level in organizing his time, his studies, and his diligence in seeking knowledge day and night, and in calling to the truth by enjoining good and forbidding evil, all due to his constant awareness and observation of Allah the Exalted. Out of his intense love for the Prophet (peace be upon him), he authored Hilyat al-Abrar to serve as a guide for the Muslim in fully emulating the master of mankind (peace be upon him) in all sayings, actions, and states.

This book, "Al-Adhkar min Kalam Sayyid al-Abrar," is distinguished by its widespread circulation throughout the world, to the extent that it is rare to find a Muslim household, let alone a student of knowledge, without it. It is the book about which it was said: "Sell the house and buy Al-Adhkar." This is due to the sincerity of its author (may Allah have mercy on him) and the sciences contained within this volume. The reader will find abundant, blessed benefits with the utmost precision and mastery. It encompasses creed, jurisprudence, hadith, ethics, and more, all presented with accuracy, clarity, and well-structured expression. He compiled 356 chapters, beginning with remembrance (dhikr) and concluding with seeking forgiveness (istighfar), limiting himself to authentic and sound hadith that are suitable for practice, which is one of its great merits.

When Dar Al-Minhaj decided to publish it, they gave it great importance befitting its status. It was collated against five manuscript copies, the most important of which is the one in the handwriting of the scholar Ibn al-Zamlkani, dictated by Imam al-Nawawi's close student and the scribe of his fatwas, Sheikh al-Arif Ibn al-Attar, dated 695 AH, and another copy with notes and an ijazah (license to transmit) from Ibn al-Attar as well. The book has been fully vocalized and numbered, and the sayings within have been traced to their sources. It has also been enriched with precious benefits from its commentary, Al-Futuhat al-Rabbaniyya by Ibn Allan, which is of great importance and a feature unique to this edition. Additionally, hadith benefits and unique points have been gathered from the dictations of Hafiz Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani and included in a special appendix, among many other features, ensuring that this edition is self-sufficient and surpasses others.
