From the back cover:

Priestess of Ur and Star of the South, the Sumerian poetess, a descendant of water, reeds, and palm trees, grew up on the bank of a river of poems called Al-Gharraf. From it, she drew a pure love for poetry, which inspired her heart to overflow with poems fragrant with the scent of the South. Her work expresses the concerns of the southern people, and she does not sleep until she is assured that poetry is her cloak and her undisputed crown.

In her words lies a history of the hardships and wars experienced by the southern people, from which she drew her sorrow and mournful ballads. When her hand wrote its first text, she felt that this magical temptation was inescapable, like one who enters a magical cave and begins to contemplate its beings.

She was like a unique bird that perched on a high rock and continued to sing with a voice raised on the hymns of love and 'Ataba'. She was fond of setting fire to the wood of others who tried to obscure that captivating voice, but she was keen on building her ethereal world from the bodies of young poems that spring from a fertile imagination, which the days made flow ever more strongly, as if a volcano had erupted from which she was never weaned.

She is the poetess Rasmiya Muhaibes. Born in the city of Al-Shatrah in southern Iraq, she continues her poetic and literary project. She has published six poetry collections, the latest being 'Feminine Riot', and two novels: the first, 'Priestesses of the Temple of Ur', and the second titled 'Return to Lagash'.
